How To Know Your Purpose

Sharing with your friend!

Everyone here on earth was born with a purpose and you have to search for purpose and meaning in life if you do not know what your purpose is. Purpose cannot be found in anything or anyone outside of God; it is an innate ability that was placed there by God, so He is the one who can reveal it to you. Anything outside of God is ineffective and nonexistent. In all your searching seek God because only a true relationship with Him can guarantee a revelation of purpose.

Knowing your purpose is something that gives you the drive to get up every morning and do better than the day before. Purpose fills your life with meaning and the need to change the world. Purpose allows you to find your worth and become who you were created to be. Sometimes people feel lost in society and feel they have no value because they haven’t tapped into the supernatural ability that will allow them to find who they are and should be in Christ. Having a purpose and sharing it with the world brings others to find their purpose as well.

Finding your purpose in God doesn’t mean that all you do is just read, study, pray, share, and all fun is over — no! Your life of fun is just beginning. The number one focus is making a difference in the lives of others following in the footsteps of Jesus and being a servant and serving others. Your purpose is that gift that God placed on the inside of you before you entered this world as a babe. This gift cannot be bought or obtained through good favor and no one else can operate in this gift but you. When you find your purpose (YOUR GIFT) you will find the reason why you exist and why you were placed here on this earth.

God wants you to enjoy life to its fullest; not forgetting that He is the giver of all. For you to live a fulfilling life, you have to obey the commands of God and submit to His will. Knowing your purpose is to recognize that there is evil, injustice, and a need that has to be met in this life that upsets you enough for you to want to change it. That is what it means to submit to God’s will. He wants you to see the good in others even when they or others don’t see it, and He wants you to minister to the lost and the lonely. That is what living a positive and godly life looks like — it is seeing the needs of others before you see it for yourself; you take care of others and God will take care of you. Living in this world we know that we cannot fully change it, but we can still make a little difference with the time God has given us; not forgetting that true justice and freedom comes from knowing and living for God. You have to always maintain your faith in God even when it gets tough because we walk by faith and not by sight. The Christian walk is not easy, but it is quite rewarding.

Many go through life seeking joy in their job, finances, and careers, and never truly feel fulfilled or happy because meaningful joy cannot be bought or obtained through material things. True joy can only be found in Jesus Christ which He has given to us freely if we are willing to accept it. One day we will all be judged whether good or evil and we will not have an excuse as to why we fail to follow God’s commands and live by His standards. We cannot blame anyone or use the circumstances around us as a getaway as to why we fail to live God’s way and fulfill our purpose in Him.

God is waiting on you for that day when you say to Him Father here I am, I am ready to do your will and walk in my purpose.

ASK, it shall be given unto you.

KNOCK, it shall be open unto you.

SEEK, and you shall find.

Father God, thank you that you see the best in us when we think differently about ourselves. You created us will special abilities so we know that we are needed and our lives are worth living because you have given us a purpose to live for. May we all walk in your will and do your command. May those who know their purpose operate in it with confidence and authority and help those who don’t know what their purpose is to find it in you. Thank you for being a good father and provider in Jesus’ name.
Amen!
