Trust The Process

Every stage you go through in life is a process, whether it be good or bad. Trusting the process is allowing God to be God. You have to allow Him to take you through each stage because during these times is when you grow, and find yourself, so you can move from one stage to the next. Others lose themselves along the way because they do not fully trust or commit to what God is doing in their lives.

We always want to be in a season of rest, prosperity, and abundance, but what about those seasons where things are not going the way we planned them, or when you see others promoted and elevated and you feel we deserve it more than they do? Do we celebrate them in their seasons of blessings or do we become jealous and unhappy based on what we see? The reason why our season of struggle and testing lasts longer than it is supposed to be for the simple fact that we were not happy for someone else. We did not allow ourselves to celebrate their victory — not knowing how long that person was in their valley or going through their season of struggle.

Romans 12:15 says to rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep.

God is the one who rotates the seasons in our lives, so we should see each season as a blessing for shaping, changing, and defining us. Never compare yourself — (your season) with someone else; we all see and go through seasons differently so embrace them and thank God for them.

Trusting the process is having the assurance of knowing that God has not forgotten you. He is working through you to elevate you though it may not seem so at the time, You may feel that God is distant and does not hear you, but remember that is the time you have to seek Him the most. He wants to test you to see how well you crumble or overcome when you are under pressure; the testing is not for Him, it is for you. God wanted to test Abraham’s faith and how faithful he was, so He (God) asked him to sacrifice his son — the promised son; Abraham did not complain or run in the other direction; he obeyed the voice of God. He knew that the God whom he served would make a way; indeed, God came through for Abraham by providing a ram for the sacrifice; and it was counted to Abraham for righteousness because of his faith.

There have been times in my life when I wasn’t sure about a lot of things and I questioned myself and God. I questioned if God had seen me at that particular time and whether or not He heard me. It wasn’t until I realized that God is in control and He will not give me more than I can bear. I had to give up and give all to Him for things to turn around. It wasn’t for me to know what God was doing at the time, it was for me to trust what He was doing and trust the process. It is not for you to know the times or the seasons that the Father has set by his authority (Acts 1:7).

Do not be afraid of your season; be happy for them and rejoice in them even when you don’t feel like it. Just be encouraged and encourage others as well because you are all working for the greater good and that is to flourish and shine in Christ and be who He called us to be. I know it might be hard to fully let go and trust, but remember without fully committing it all to Him and trusting Him even when your situation says otherwise; He cannot help you if you don’t. GOD CAN DO IT ALL, just trust and have faith.

It is time to embrace your season and Trust the Process.

Father God, I know that this life is not perfect and for me to live a life of reward and blessing I have to learn to trust and put all my faith in you. You know the beginning from the end, and you know what each season will bring to my life and what I can learn from them. Thank you for allowing me to experience your faithfulness and love Lord, because I know you are able in all things.
Amen!
